PRAYER REQUEST

UPDATE:

Lacey has stage 4 cancer that is in her bones too. She is in a lot of pain and can’t move her legs today. they are doing an MRI and sending her to ICU. They may start radiation agressively too. They are not hopeful. Pray for her family to be bathed in God’s peace and that they can make Lacey more comfortable. Thank you all for your prayers and support.

RECENT UPDATE:

Lacey again had a very full day yesterday so in the evening she was a little overwhelmed and sober.  God used this for good as He gave her mommy the wisdom to keep things quiet and still.  Lacey spent some much needed alone and quiet time with her mom.  This was a gift to Heather especially since it was one of Lacey’s most clear moments since all of the tests and meds had begun.  Lacey also told her mommy and daddy that she felt the blanket on her legs!  Lacey was alert enough to be very clear that she was overwhelmed and was strong enough to let people no she had had enough.  The time for both mom and daughter was precious and needed.  Matt and Heather and the nurses decided to do all that they could to keep Lacey undisturbed as much as possible so she would get the rest she needs to get up and around in the morning.  Pray specifically today for a more relaxed day free from tests and overwhelming information.  Some much needed “down time” is needed to process and fight a good fight.  Also continue to pray she will take her oral medication to help with the nausea etc. She is not a big fan and often refuses. Any creative ideas would be welcomed:)  Being a little stubborn shows strength and God will use this to help her fight.  Thank you all for your prayers.  It is sustaining the family and it is only through Christ that there is any strength left at all.

PRAYER REQUEST

Please pray 6 yr old Lacey, she is in the hospital. They have found a mass in her back that they think is cancer. The little girls grandparents/cousins/aunt/uncle go to my church. The tumor they found is four to five inches in size and more tests are being done to see exactly what procedure needs to be performed.

UPDATE:

Lacey will be having a biopsy today @1. This will help the doctors and her parents know exactly what they’re dealing with so they can set up a plan of action.
